Shelf Life

Shelf Life depends on the product, the packaging and storage, so variance may occur.

Recommended storage is in a cool dry place (not on a cement floor) at temperatures ranging between 55 and 70 degrees F (ideal humidity is under 15%).


Approximate Shelf Life:

#10 Cans

  • Minimum of 10 years unopened. Opened - At least one year.

Fiber Cans

  • 3 years unopened (ex. Spiff-E-Whip, Vital Wheat Gluten, Cocoa)

 

#2 1/2 Cans (New everyday size can)

  • Same shelf life of the product in the #10 can

 

1 LB, 2 LB, 5 LB Bags

  • 18 months unopened

 

25 LB, 50 LB Bags

  • 18 months to 30 years unopened (depends on product)

 

Pails

  • Most pails correspond to the shelf life of the product in the #10 can.
