Everyone loves a hot, comforting bowl of soup on a cold, winter day. Augason Farms has a variety of soup mixes (both organic and not) that our customers and their families love! Simply add water and simmer for 15 minutes and you’re good to go!
But today, we wanted to get creative and show our customers other ways to use our soups for a twist on quick and delicious meals. We’re excited to highlight some of our popular products and show you how to shake things up!
Cheesy Chicken Enchilada Soup
Cheesy Chicken Enchilada Soup is a savory, south-of-the-border taste that is both nutritious and filling. It’s the perfect combination of spicy and sweet.
Mix It Up: Make a cheesy enchilada casserole! Roll up tortillas with your choice of shredded meat (like chicken or pork), cheese and any add-ins you’d like (olives, green onions, etc.) and place in a baking dish. Heat up Augason Farm’s Cheesy Chicken Enchilada Soup with half the amount of water for a thicker, sauce-like consistency. Pour over the enchiladas and top with more cheese. Bake in the oven at 375 degrees until the casserole is warmed through and bubbly.
Organic Corn Chowder Soup
This is a scrumptious comfort food that offers a creamy, flavorful experience you can typically only get with its made-from-scratch counterpart! Whole corn kernels and red pepper bits combine for a “true food” take on a recipe you can feel good about eating. With Augason Farms Organic Corn Chowder, you can enjoy a delicious classic soup in minutes just by adding water!
Mix It Up: Make a delicious Corn Chowder Queso! Mix up a serving of Organic Corn Chowder with ¾ the amount of required water. Once it simmers for fifteen minutes, add your desired amount of cheese and salsa or refried beans and warm through. Serve with toasted pita wedges or chips. Perfect for your next game day spread!
Organic Butternut Squash Soup
An all-around favorite, this soup is a perfect way to enjoy healthy and delicious organic ingredients. It offers a rich taste of golden butternut squash, nutmeg and other spices with a velvety smooth texture and mild peppery kick. All it takes to enjoy this favorite seasonal soup is boiling water and about 15 minutes!
Mix It Up: Reduce the water by just a little bit to make a delicious pasta sauce! This butternut squash sauce would be especially delicious spooned over some cheese tortellini or gnocchi and sprinkled with bacon.
