*Morning Moo's - We ordered this for emergency use, but we had to try it to see if we would order more, now we will probably use this all the time. First, the package arrived in 3 days, second, the taste is better than regular milk. We use glass containers and it tastes like what the milkman use to bring when we were little. Overall the price and quality is great! Now we are looking at the other "long-term" storage foods because of this. Augason Farms Fan, 7/11

* My DH and I love all the soups and bakery products we have tried from Augason Farms. I have ordered numerous Augason Farms Gluten Free Products and mixes. My mom was diagnosed with Celiacs back in the late 1950's and she absolutely loves all the mixes she has tried so far...She also loves the fact that she receives more product in the packages. * I just want to say how much I love your products. I purchased several cans of the creamy vegetable soup while it was on sale. I have health related fatigue issues and sometimes after work I will have the vegetable soup and a sandwich for dinner. It's an easy quick meal, has a great taste and is very affordable. I also love your morning moo's milk products. I bought one of the big tubs at Costco here for my daughter and grandkids and they just love it. * Morning Moo's - A great way to replace shortening and butter in recipes: Using the hint that the dry Morning Moo's powder has a shortening effect, I experimented by replacing all of the shortening in a couple cookie recipes with Morning Moo's. The results have been fabulous!! We like Moo's Snickerdoodles better than the originals with shortening. And chocolate chip cookies turn out so soft, but they're not cakey, despite the fact that they have so little fat (and no solid fats like butter or shortening, which the recipe originally called for). -Aaron Dahle
* About using gluten with breadmaking: I use a product called Vital Wheat Gluten (not Gluten flour)...and it makes a noticeable difference in the texture of our bread when I use straight whole wheat. It makes it more like "Wonder" bread with a soft spongy, non-tearing texture when folded type of bread.....I don't know how else to explain it.I think if you aren't able to tell the difference with your recipe, then don't use it... My primary purpose in using it was to ease the transition of 5 youth into the world of whole wheat :).....and it worked.Using straight whole wheat tends to make a heavier bread, and the addition of the Vital Wheat Gluten, really softens and lightens it up. You may not be noticing a difference if you are using half and half since the white flour is lighter. Just my experience. -Chris
* This is the story about my son. When we first started to use Morning Moo's, my wife would mix it up and pour it in a plastic milk jug. When one of the jugs would need to be replaced, she would buy milk at the store. One day, after we had purchased some milk, that she set in the back of the fridge, my boy came running in and poured himself a glass of milk. Little did he know, he was still drinking Morning Moo's. He turned and ask my wife if this was real milk or powder. My wife told him to tell her what it was. He took his drink. He said, "Oh no, I can't tell anymore." Famous last words. That is how good this stuff is. Morning Moo's is all we use now and we give samples out all the time. You have a good product. -Doug Denning

* I would love to see recipes that use your mixes for non-obvious foods. One example is my use of Indian Bread Scone Mix. I use it to make a quick pizza dough by adding a little Italian hybrid olive oil and garlic. I also make quick garlic bread sticks with it. Also, I roll the dough in the 9 grain cereal before baking pizza or pizza "sticks." Everyone likes the little bit of crunch on the outside of the dough. I like it because it doesn't stick to my baking stone then.Our family really loves the 6 grain pancake mix, as pancakes and waffles. However, I am stumped for other uses. I know there must be more! * Just a note to tell you how much our family enjoys your products. They all refuse to eat pancakes and waffles made from anything except your Buttermilk Biscuit Mix. We also use it as a topping in our fruit cobblers. Nothing is easier or better. The Cinnamon/Sweet Roll Mix is truly exceptional. Not only do we make it as directed, but we make Chocolate Sweet Rolls with it as well by adding some cocoa/sugar to the mix. My husband says I could open my own shop with only the Cinnamon/Chocolate Rolls and make a fortune. Thanks for having such a handy and easy website. * This is to let you know that we made it home and have had time to try a couple of the products we bought at BCG. Some of the products are for storage and won't be opened yet, but we did have a chance to try the pancake mix in both pancake and waffle form and the raspberry muffin mix. The pancakes/waffles were wonderful! Enough like scratch that it wouldn't be worth it to make it from scratch unless I absolutely had to. The muffins were delicious also. They were light and sweet and perfect for early morning seminary students on the run. Our experience in your store was good too. Easy access and back to the freeway, much to our hurried relief. You were gracious and informative without being pushy. The prices are excellent and I look forward to purchasing more when we are back in SLC next spring. In the mean time, I've scattered around some of the price lists you've given me and was wondering if you could send me some more. I only have 2 left and want to keep one for myself. * I had to tell you about my fussy grandchildren. Fussy about what they like & didn't like. I really liked Moo's milk the 1st time I tried it & wanted my grandsons to at least taste it. They called it "grandma's milk " & turned up there noses. One day I was out of pasteurized milk which they had ask for & I decided to fool them. I poured out a couple of glasses of Moo's Milk & set it in front of them. They were watching T.V. & didn't notice. As soon as they tasted it they ask me if it was Grandma's milk & I wouldn't lie & admitted it. "Boy they said, Grandms's milk is sure good. Were all drinking it now & loving it. * My children absolutely love chocolate morning moo's. I have to hide it when I make it so it can get cold. I made a batch one morning, and left the kitchen. When I came back, I noticed my two youngest children (2 & 4) had made a tent out of the table. Didn't think much of it till I opened the refrigerator, and noticed the chocolate moos was gone! I put 2 & 2 together, looked under the tent, and there they were drinking it down as fast as they could! Thanks for a wonderful product! We recently had an outing with my wife's Achievement Day girls with homemade ice cream as the special treat. One of the "ice creams" was Chocolate Moo's made with milk and then frozen using an electric hurn. The result was delicious (and totally consumed). -Tom W.
* I bought some of your Honey White bread mix, and also some Honey Wheat. I decided to get it because it would be easy sometimes in the bread machine instead of starting from scratch, but since I bought it I haven't made ANY from scratch. It's so good!! * I first learned about Morning Moo's from my sister in Idaho. She was using it full-time and was really impressed with it because she had a son who had to have allergy shots each day until she went to Morning Moo's all the time. He has not had allergy problems for a long time. After trying it we decided to tell others and spent some time talking about it to our friends here. I still use it often, but in the last year we decided that it was much more price worthy because our milk here in Evanston went to almost $3.00 a gal. Everyone in our family was convinced it was great but my oldest son (age 12). Just the other day in the grocery store he said to me, "now that we have used it for awhile I like it better". * For the last couple of years your "just add water" whipped topping (Spiff-E-Whip) is all I have used. It is convenient, easy to make, fluffy, thick, and does not take up freezer space (just to name a few). My husband doesn't even like the frozen stuff at all anymore. I was buying your product through a "middle-man" and could no longer get it from him. I was devastated thinking that I was going to have to go back to using the frozen stuff. * Here are my comments on Morning Moo's. As a child I grew up drinking powdered milk. I had a hard time adjusting to reg. milk when I moved away and I didn't want to make milk for just me. Then I got married and my husband wasn't much of a milk drinker, so I decided to try starting my kids on Morning Moo's. I happened to get some from a friend. We liked the Choc. so decided to try the reg. Now we drink just morning moo instead of store bought milk. The kids can't tell a difference and neither can I. -Julie

* A friend of mine sent me home with a baggie of Moo's in March to try it out on my family. We liked it so much that we purchased a 50 lb. bag . We have since purchased another 50 lb. bag . We have found it to be an excellent food storage item. I have given sample baggies of it to friends as well, and at least one other friend has purchased a 50 pound bag. Can you believe that? We don't ever buy milk anymore, it's so great to never run out of the stuff. * Recently, my family and I were vacationing in Utah, and my sister in law introduced me to your powdered milk product. I was very very pleasantly suprised! I could never serve my family the powdered milk from our emergency supply, because to tell the truth, it was disgusting. I couldn't even get away with mixing it 1/2 and 1/2. I absolutely love the powdered milk you have, and my family didn't even know that I had them drinking it full strength at my sister in laws cabin! I would like to purchase your product. * I use the buttermilk to make my own pancake mix. That was great for most of our family, but there are two who just love blueberry pancakes. The fresh is too expensive to buy and try to keep on hand. One day we found out that you have the imitation blueberries and pancakes have been a hit for everyone around here ever since! * My 3 Montana grandsons have grown up on Morning Moo's. They never buy milk. When their supplier moved out of the area we were all disappointed that we no longer had access to this product. The only thing we remembered was it came from somewhere near Salt Lake City. I put a message on the yahoo message board in Salt Lake City asking if anyone knew where we could buy Morning Moo's. * I am so happy to have found your Morning Moo's as it has solved a number of "milk problems" for me and my husband. After all the kids left for college we no longer needed as much milk and our use became more sporadic. After the only grocery store in our small Montana town closed, it became very difficult to keep milk on hand. I would buy a quart when I did grocery shopping at the next town, and it would usually be spoiled by the time my husband had a hankering for cereal. It just seemed like I couldn't keep milk on hand and use it before it spoiled. Then one day I found Morning Moo's and even tho your label stated that there was no powdered milk taste, I was still pretty skeptical. But I was also very interested in the enhanced cooking qualities that were listed on the label. My primary use at first was making bread in my bread machine. That was my first thrill - Morning Moo's made the best bread I have ever made! I was absolutely delighted how each and every loaf turned out. Then I mixed some up and put it in the fridge. I could not believe my first taste! My husband could not believe how great it tasted! I know we like it better than the skim milk we were buying, and the price is not only better than fresh milk, but also beats regular powdered milk. I am also pretty sure Morning Moo's has a much longer shelf life after mixing than regular milk which means a lot less waste (I feel like I am winning there - cheaper price and no waste!). Then I discovered that drinking Morning Moo's no longer upset my stomach as fresh milk did. It has been years since I have been able to drink milk, although I used to drink it a lot. I recently read about Morning Moo's lower lactose levels on your WEB page so I now understand why. I am excited again, tho, as it is so wonderful to be able to drink milk again and not have to suffer for it. I have also tried your chocolate Morning Moos and split a can with the kids - we all think it is too incredibly delicious, also. -Augason Farms Fan
* My mom recently visited and is now a Morning Moo's convert. She lives alone now and had a lot of the same "milk problems" that I had. I gave her a glass while she was here and she could not believe how good it tasted and that it was powdered milk. She was as excited as I have been and couldn't wait to get some. After she went back home, she ordered your 25 lb pail! She couldn't find it in her area, but I checked your web address listed on the can and found your great site. I then relayed the info to her and she phoned in her order. She called me the day it arrived, excited as can be, and was raving about what fast & courteous service she had received. So I just wanted to thank you for such a great product!
