Augason Farms Honey Powder is perfect for use in recipes. Reconstituted it is delicious on breads, rolls, or muffins.

Honey powder, like liquid honey, can be used as a flavoring or sweetener. It provides the typical flavor characteristics of honey, but without the water and a 30 year shelf life. In the powder form, the consistency is much easier to handle than liquid honey.

Uses in powder form:
Dry rubs
Adding to cake, cookie, and bread mixes
Sprinkle on hot and cold cereals, ice cream
Dust on seeds and nuts before roasting
Add to hot and cold drinks like tea or fruit drinks

Whole Wheat Nut Muffins
1 egg
3 tablespoons Augason Farms Country Fresh 100% Instant Nonfat Dry Milk
1 cup water
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup Augason Farms Honey Powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
Sugar or sugar-cinnamon mixture – optional

Grease bottoms only of muffin pan. Beat egg and stir in next six ingredients. Mix well. Add flour and baking powder and stir just until flour is moistened. Do not over mix. Fill cups 3/4 full. Sprinkle with sugar or sugar-cinnamon mixture if desired. Bake at 400˚F for 10 minutes.

1 slice your favorite bread – toasted and buttered

Cinnamon

Sprinkle honey powder and cinnamon on warm buttered toast.
